Despite the rain, we had a brilliant time at the Natural History museum today learning about dinosaurs. There was lots to see and the children loved the opportunity touch and feel lots of interesting objects including dinosaur eggs. The children were impressed by the sheer size of the dinosaur skeletons and listened carefully to the information about each of the dinosaurs. The children enjoyed a tasty dinosaur shaped biscuit for their snack and spent time looking at all of the exhibits before having a go at drawing the dinosaur skeletons. It wasn’t long before we had to put our wellies and waterproofs back on to get the bus back to school.
The children enjoyed a picnic in the classroom whilst watching a dinosaur programme on the whiteboard and it wasn’t long until home time.
